The History of Tony Cullen
I fell in love with my first Mini in 1967 when a good friend showed me his brand new Cooper S having just fitted a new Lukey exhaust system and wanted to hear what it sounded like, so I drove it up my long street whilst he listened to it, he was happy, I was so impressed that I went and bought one the next day and the love commenced. A few weeks later I was at a local wrecking yard when the owner spotted my car & suggested that I buy one of his damaged Mini Coopers and rebuild it, the start of my mechanical knowledge of Mini’s began. Friends with Mini’s asked me to help them with their Mini repairs & thats How Minifix was created and established in 1977 at Blackwood. Which later turned into Minisport.
